Sustainability accelerator program
To accelerate the business readiness and growth of Small Businesses, AstraZeneca, in partnership with DA4S, is launching an intensive program to jump-start the Small Businesses sustainability journey and enable their competitive advantage.
PROGRAM GOAL
Enable supplier businesses to gain a better understanding of Fundamentals of Sustainability, their company’s sustainability impact, and begin to build a sustainability roadmap and action plan for their business.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
Session 1 | Sept. 10: Sustainability Foundations
Program kicks-off with an overview of what sustainability means, its components, and why it is important. Learn about its potential impact on your business via a discussion of materiality – or where your impact matters most.
Session 2 | Oct. 8: Sustainability Tools & Best Practice Sharing
Learn how to embed sustainability into your business using sustainability tools and resources. Gain insights into the EcoVadis sustainability rating system, policies, and procedures. Best practice sharing from peer case studies and real-world lessons on embedding sustainability into business operations.
Session 3 | Nov. 12: Scope 3 & Sustainability Action Plan
Discover sustainability key trends, sustainability expectations from suppliers. Learn about GHG Protocol and Scope 3, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and CDP, key requirements, and practical steps for success. Explore key elements of sustainability action plan and roadmap. Best practice sharing by peer suppliers.
Session 4 | Dec 10: Human Rights & Sustainability Impact
Explore the importance of human rights in value chains, suppliers’ expectations and strategies for advancing human rights. Group exercise on scaling sustainability impact. Program attendees and winners will be recognized for their development of 2026 action plans.
The sessions will be followed by optional clinics to support you with your company materiality assessment and sustainability action plan.
Participation Requirements
Participants must agree to commit to join all 4 sessions and be willing to learn and apply the learnings in practice.
